Hong Kong's Nike Air Max Con Is a Sneaker-Filled Wonderland
A four-storey multi-sensory celebration of Air.
This year’s
Hong Kong’s own Air Max Con opens from March 23-27 at the historic Fringe Club, where the building’s distinctive colonial architecture has been converted into a four-level multicolored museum of sorts for the Air Max. The interior is separated into several sections titled Master of Air, which showcases the most prized sneakers of several prominent collectors; Sneaker Studio, which dissects the design processes of the original Air Max silhouettes; H-T-M Kitchen, where visitors can design their own HTM-approved NIKEiD sneakers; and Vote Back, where sneakerheads can vote on a historic Air Max model to be put back into production.
An immersive sneaker-centric experience that’s the first of its kind, Hong Kong’s Air Max Con is open to the public from 11am-9pm on March 24 and 26, and from 11am-6pm on March 27. Those looking to customize their NIKEiD HTM can head here, while Air Max fans can look forward to the HTM-designed Nike Air Max Ultra M dropping online at Nike.com on March 24.
