Comparing the OG and Upcoming atmos Air Max 1 "Safari" Releases
Which one do you like better?
In anticipation of the upcoming atmos Air Max 1 “Safari” release, sneaker specialists Overkill were kind enough to provide us with imagery of the OG version from 2002 and the reworked model side-by-side. Arguably one of the most sought-after Air Max 1s ever released, Nike has applied a new fur-like fabric to the toe box of the sneaker which replaces the previous canvas fabric seen on the OG. Additional changes include a thinner silhouette construction, a lighter color scheme across the base of the shoe, while the retro gum outsole is swapped out for an icy blue one. Overall the shoe retains its eye-catching aesthetic though in a slightly more flamboyant manner than its predecessor.
