Nike Is Launching Its Own Air Max Sneaker Convention

Air Max Day — first established back in 2014 to celebrate the 1987 debut of the Air Max 1 — is right around the corner and, to celebrate, Nike is launching its very own sneaker convention. Though there isn’t much info out there about the endeavor, the aptly named Air Max Con will hit New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong alike while the Swoosh says “this multi-day sneaker convention will bring sneaker lovers together on an epic journey through the heritage, design and innovation story of Air Max. Step into the shoes of a designer, meet the Masters of Air and share your experience with the sneaker community.”

Registration for those interested in attending is now open for Tokyo and opens for NYC and Hong Kong March 8 and March 12, respectively.
