adidas Confirms Paul Pogba's Deal by Giving Him an Exclusive Boot

When we brought you the news that The Three Stripes had reportedly sealed a 10-year $44M USD deal with French football star Paul Pogba, much of the speculation revolved around whether or not the player would get his own pair of signature boots. While he has yet to receive a signature model set for release, adidas has confirmed the huge deal by unveiling a pair of boots that will be custom-made for Pogba and distributed only to him — a football equivalent of the Player Exclusive.
In keeping with his favorite colors, Pogba’s exclusive boots are a matte black take on the ACE 16+ PURECONTROL boot, finished with a gold sole plate and gold stripes. There are additional hits of gold on the shoe’s heel — which read “POGBOOM” and “POGBANCE” — and the insole, which reads “I Am Here To Create.” While you won’t be able to get your hands on this pair, hopefully this bodes well for Pogba’s future with the German brand and it should mark the beginning of a long and creatively fruitful relationship.
