Vans has come a long way since it opened as a small family-owned brand in Anaheim back on March 16, 1966. And since today marks the 50-year anniversary of the West Coast-bred icon, Vans is taking a look back at its five decades of explosive growth with a brand new video. Simply dubbed “The Story of Vans” and narrated by skateboarding legend Jeff Grosso, the stylishly animated piece — which was first teased earlier this month — touches on the company’s biggest milestones as it highlights Vans’s origins in everything from action sports and fashion to art and music.
