Eric Medalle, creative design director of The Pokémon Company International, was reportedly killed this past weekend in a freak accident when a tree fell onto his SUV. According to the The Seattle Times, the 42-year-old was taking his daughter out for a drive when a large evergreen tree snapped due to the ferocious winds. Fortunately his 5-year-old child survived the casualty but the father was pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Medalle family at this difficult time.
