Nike Welcomes Bryson Tiller to the Swoosh Fam via an Intimate Air Force 1 Bespoke iD Studio Session
Pen Griffey joins the Swoosh.

After being seen in the Nike SF-AF1 quite a few times, it was only a matter of time before the relationship between the Swoosh and Bryson Tiller would grow. Possessing a unique sound and storytelling lyrics that allow you to personally relate to his own situations, Tiller has recently joined team Nike and has been welcomed with open arms thanks to a special session at NikeLab 21 Mercer’s Bespoke iD Studio.
Tiller’s choice of the Air Force 1 hails from his upbringing, dating back to his high school days. Bryson states that “I wore a uniform to school, so the white-on-white or black-on-black Air Force 1 Low was the simple sneaker to wear, but it was the standard. You were cool if you had on a pair of Air Force 1s and it’s still a staple for me while on tour.” During the creative session he managed to craft a special pair inspired by his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Its upper hosted University Red coloring while gracing premium full-grain leather, giving off the look and feel of boxing gloves. The eyestays are Tour Yellow while the lace dubraes welcomed Metallic Gold to bring it full circle. As a finisher, an off-white midsole and gum outsole closed out the design to Tiller’s satisfaction.
