Volvo's Reflective "LifePaint" Spray Is Now Available for Online Purchase
Invisible during the day, illuminated at night.
Last year, Volvo Car UK revealed its innovative LifePaint safety spray that helps warn drivers of cyclists riding at night. The reflective material was designed to be invisible during the daytime and it would illuminate once nighttime rolls in. Moreover, the spray can be applied on a slew of dry textiles such as fleece, cotton, linen and particular types of nylon. Interested users can cover all sorts of desired wares with the paint such as sneakers, helmets, backpacks and even dog leashes.
When LifePaint was revealed, Volvo alongside its Swedish start-up partner, Albedo100, decided that they would amp up distribution if the product receives a ton of fanfare. A year later, the duo are now releasing the spray for the first time online. LifePaint is available for purchase now at select Volvo dealers as well as the company’s official website—a single six-ounce can will run you approximately $14 USD.
