Nike Looks Back on the Air Force 1's Roots With Basketball Leather Construction
The AF1 heads back to the court.
The Air Force 1 has undoubtedly become a street stalwart over its three-plus decades, but Nike is looking back on the shoe’s court roots this winter with a special “Basketball Leather” pack. Featuring both orange and black low-tops, the pack employs basketball leather throughout the uppers as an appropriate nod to the silhouette’s early ’80s stomping grounds and comes with details like varsity letter-inspired tongue branding badges, leather Swooshes and custom graphic footbeds.
While the black colorway is available now at nike.com, the orange pair should land soon at NSW spots worldwide.
