The First 'Emoji Movie' Teaser Trailer Is Pretty "Meh"
What emoji would you use to describe your excitement?
Making a movie about emojis is a no-brainer since almost anyone who communicates through the digital space practically use the popular characters in their everyday lives. Now with Sony Animation planning to release The Emoji Movie next year, fans will be delighted to know that their favorite “emoticons” could possibly make an appearance. In this teaser however, we only see the “Meh” emoji trying to talk about the film in the most apathetic way possible. It then cuts off to a poop joke being told by an ice cream character to a cookie. Of course, you already know who’s listening in on the conversation.
The Emoji Movie features voices from T.J. Miller, James Corden, Ilana Glazer and more. It is set to hit theaters on August 4, 2017.
