Three years ago, mastermind JAPAN and New Era came out with a special edition 59FIFTY Fitted Cap. This year, the duo revisits the collaborative project with the release of a co-designed 9TWENTY model. The signature cap features a pre-curved brim, adjustable strap at the back, and an unconstructed crown reminiscent of old baseball cap styles worn in the early years of Major League Baseball games. The mastermind JAPAN touch comes in the form of an embroidered silver skull on the visor, curved branding on the rear with a small skull logo and a metal D-ring on the side of the visor. Retailing for ¥7,000 JPY (approximately $60 USD), the mastermind JAPAN x New Era 9TWENTY cap will be available at the New Era Japan online store on January 1.
