Red Solo Cup Inventor Dies at 84

Former Solo Cup Co. President and Chief Executive Robert Leo Hulseman passed away at age 84. Donnellan Family Funeral Services reports that Hulseman died December 21 at his home in Northfield, Illinois surrounded by his family. Hulseman is credited with developing the Red Solo Cup that has become has become a fixture at pretty much any social gatherings, in addition to the Solo Traveler coffee cup lid that accompanies your morning cup of joe. Hulseman served as President and Chief Executive for nearly 60 years with the disposable consumer products company started in 1936 by his father, Leo. We extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the Hulseman family.
