Meet the Artist Turning Sneakers Into Helmets and Gas Masks
Giving the Yeezy mask creator a run for his money.
Gary Lockwood aka Freehand Profit is upping the sneaker-sculpting ante by creating intricate recreations of helmets and gas masks and, in terms of sheer detailing, they’re a step beyond the face masks created by Zhijun Wang. During the video, Lockwood talks to Tested about evolving from making handbag gas masks to sneakers, how he chooses which models to use, and shows off some of his favorite items, including a Storm Trooper helmet made from two pairs of Nikes and an Anubis mask made from custom NIKEiDs.
