Tommy Hilfiger Goes to LA to Stage See-Now-Buy-Now Show for Spring 2017
Opting out of New York Fashion Week.
After showcasing his collection “Tommy Pier” during September’s New York Fashion Week, Tommy Hilfiger plans to move his 2017 spring collection show to the sunny beaches of LA, working once again with model and muse Gigi Hadid. Hilfiger’s second see-now-buy-now show will take place in Venice Beach, California where Gigi also calls home. Since Gigi joined as the face of Tommy, the brand has seen web traffic increase by 900% and experienced a double-digit boost to sales. Set to debut on February 8, 2017, Hilfiger states:
“The spring 2017 collections were designed with a clear West Coast spirit, and Gigi and I have loved fusing elements of her California lifestyle and a music festival atmosphere into the second Tommy x Gigi collection.”
