Nike Announces Insane Line of Basketball-Appreciative Releases Dubbed "12 Soles"
Including a “Mystery Drop.”
Nike’s “12 Soles” initiation is geared to highlight the growth of creativity via the highly impactful sport of basketball. Bridging the gap between sport and fashion, the sport’s influence will receive much deserved appreciation thanks to a carefully selected group of silhouettes which highlight special moments in footwear history, as well as leaps in innovation. Nike Basketball’s heritage is represented throughs silhouettes such as iterations of Nike’s Air Force 1 model in the SF AF-1 and AF-1 Upstep Warrior, Nike Air Max 2 Uptempo, Nike Uptempo 97 as well as the fan favorite Nike Air Foamposite Pro silhouette.
More recent models are highlighted in the Nike Kobe XI Elite Low, Nike Zoom KD 9, Nike Kyrie 2 and Air Jordan XXXI. Closing out the selection are a few iconic Air Jordan silhouettes in the Air Jordan IX Retro, Air Jordan XI Retro and Air Jordan XVI Retro. A mystery drop will also be a part of the upcoming launch which has yet to be announced.
The Swoosh’s “12 Soles” initiation will be displayed at Nike’s new SoHo flagship opening on November 11 and will being launching on December 3 via Nike+ SNKRS, online and select retailers.
