Kehlani Shares Artwork & Release Date for Debut Album, 'SWEETSEXYSAVAGE'
It’s coming soon.

Kehlani revealed the title of her debut album, SWEETSEXYSAVAGE, last week. Today, the Oakland singer-songwriter has shared the cover artwork and its release date. The project will drop on January 27 and the artwork, developed by artists Brick and James McCloud, finds the singer posted in front of a sunset. Lani Tsunami also took to Twitter to share the inspiration behind the title. “As women we are told that we cannot be multi-layered,” she writes. “We are put in boxes. We can’t be all the above. Reclaim yourself.” Check out the cover and a more in-depth explanation via her tweets below.

We have been hurt, we have inflicted hurt, we have been right, we have been wrong, we’ve been shy AND overly confident. We are women. #SSS
