Kuro Reinvents the Canadian Tuxedo for Spring/Summer 2018
Denim on denim, the Japanese way.
Tokyo denim imprint Kuro is back with a new array of Spring/Summer goods. Bolstering tapered trousers with simple layering, the Japanese brand continues juxtaposing contemporary styling with denim.
Kuro offers an array of high-waisted, pleated pants and oversized jackets in lightweight, washed denim, granting a rugged edge to the understated items. The cuts recall European tailoring, with trim crops and clean lines, but the fabric is quintessential Japan. Boxy tees and relaxed chore coats shift proportions and the label’s signature loosely-threaded tag adds visual interest to outerwear.
