Tom Hardy & Ridley Scott Unleash Four New Promo Videos for Sinister Miniseries 'Taboo'
An eight-episode drama steeped in betrayal, revenge and murder.

FX has been on fire as of late—fanning its flames with new episodes for Atlanta, American Horror Story and recently, its renewal of Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story. This time, the critically-acclaimed television network is relentlessly teasing its forthcoming show dubbed Taboo, which is helmed by Mad Max: Fury Road actor Tom Hardy and iconic film producer Ridley Scott who will executive produce the miniseries. Back in February, fans got their first look of the eight-episode drama that is steeped in betrayal, revenge and murder. Now, four new promos for Taboo have surfaced titled “Foolish Things,” “Mask,” “Revenge” and “Unnatural.”
The show—set in 1814—will follow protagonist James Keziah Delaney (Hardy) who returns to London after spending some time in Africa to manage his father’s affluent shipping business. Delaney was thought to be long dead and his arrival in Britain is truly an unwanted one as unnamed enemies presumably scheme to destroy everything that he owns and suffices it to say, murder him. Not to mention, a dark family mystery manifests and Delaney must find a way to survive through it all. The plot was conjured by Hardy and his father Chips Hardy who is also the consulting producer for the series.
Taboo is set to premiere on FX this January 2017.
