The Winiche & Co. Warehouse has long been a go-to for mita sneakers creative director Shigeyuki Kunii on his hunt for al things vintage, so the Japanese spot makes the perfect partner for Kunii and company as mita presents its latest piece of collaborative footwear: a flight jacket-inspired take on the Instapump Fury OG alongside Reebok. As you might expect, the design comes covered in an olive drab exterior while bright orange lines the inside of the shoe. Other design cues include a premium leather toe bumper, a contrasting white Hexalite-cushioned midsole, and a gum rubber outsole. Finally, the footbeds not only come decorated with mita’s signature chain link fence, but feature co-branding and a special camouflage motif, too. Best of all, though? The kicks come accompanied by a protective water-repelling spray while Winiche is introducing a limited-edition custom MA-1 — complete with reflective applications throughout — to coincide with the release.
Look for all three items to drop this Saturday, October 22.
