Mercedes-AMG Unveils the 2018 E63 S, the Fastest E-Class Car Ever Made
The new engine sends the car from 0-60 in 3.3 seconds.
Mercedes-AMG has revealed details of the E63 and the E63 S, unveilings that comes soon after the announcement of its electric SUV. The five-seater chassis has a new 4.0L biturbo V8 engine, allowing the E63S to go from 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds, while the overall top speed of the E63 is 155mph and the E63S goes up to 186mph. Both versions of the E63 have 4MATIC+ permanent all-wheel-drive, allowing for great performance on a variety of terrain, while the E63S has varying car modes such as Race and Drift. The E63 will cost approximately $92,000 USD while the S edition will cost $102,000 USD, with both going on sale in January 2017.
