'Stranger Things' Director Shawn Levy to Helm 'Uncharted' Movie
The Canadian director will be in charge of Nathan Drake’s big-screen debut.
According to a recent report on Deadline, Sony Pictures has tapped Stranger Things director and producer Shawn Levy for the long-awaited live-action feature film based on Playstation game Uncharted. Developed by Naughty Dog, the third-person shooter game most recently received a fourth instalment back in May 10, and proved to be a commercial success selling over 2.7 million copies in the first week. Levy will still be involved in the Netflix original show’s second season, but he’ll be in charge of Nathan Drake’s big-screen debut. Still no word on a possible release date but we’ll keep you posted with any updates.
