Virgil Abloh is coming off a stellar Paris Fashion Week — his premiere men’s runway show featured some of the fashion event’s best music, cameos, and looks inspired by Raf Simons and Vetements in equal measure. Now the visuals for Abloh’s upcoming pre-fall collection have emerged, giving us a closer look at the brand’s collaboration with Shane Gonzales’ MIDNIGHT STUDIOS. Notoriously spotted on Ian Connor, the line of cut-and-sew hoodies plays with vintage Americana and collegiate imagery. Abloh juxtaposes these pieces with patchwork denim complete with velvet detailing, sleeveless camel coats, bombers and oversized skate belts styled to look like measuring tape. Stay tuned for more details on the collection’s release and stockists.
