For Abloh’s latest seasonal showing, the American designer builds upon his ongoing affinity for classic English menswear tapped with a heavy streetwear influence. Fall/Winter 2016 starts with a monochromatic color scheme juxtaposing high and street, from trench motos to herringbone jumpsuits. The cold-weather range then takes a vibrant turn with orange and purple checkered prints, followed by earthy hues of green and brown, then finished with super bright overcoats matching the runway they’re paraded on. Deconstruction is also seen throughout the collection, staying in line with his past offerings. What you may not notice however, is the revealing of OFF-WHITE’s T-shirt collaboration with MIDNIGHT STUDIOS towards the end of the gallery.
