While largely known for its range of high-end writing utensils, Montblanc expanded into horological pieces during last year’s SIHH with its Heritage Chronométrie collection. One of the highlights from the current range is the Chronométrie Dual Time, a timepiece which offers a second time-zone feature in a time of globalization, transitional agendas, and globetrotting. The watch is equipped with the Caliber MB 29.19 with a functional manufacture complication created in-house by Montblanc. The two clocks display local time and home time, with the home-time hand in blue and a minutues hand in gold. A 24-hour sub dial at 12 o’clock indicates whether it is night or day back home. Along with intricate features, a golden bezel gives the watch an extra touch of elegance. Priced at $$5,800 USD the Chronométrie Dual Time Watch can be purchased from Montblanc’s online store.
