Historic Fine Art Paired With Modern Corporate LogosA fascinating critique of today’s consumerist culture.
Filipino graphic designer Eisen Bernardo has taken a hard look at current day’s consumerist culture in his series Logo+Art. The series features a variety of recognizable logos masked over historical fine art, including the likes of Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, Self Portrait with Thorn Necklace by Frida Kahlo, and Scout Attacked by a Tiger by Henri Rousseau. For many of the pieces, the symbols and themes behind the art matches with the company’s message. Check out more of Bernardo’s art here.
