After re-releasing some of his greatest hits, Russian designer, photographer and all-around creative Gosha Rubchinskiy is back with a new collection titled “1984.” The pieces draw upon nostalgia and historical references to propaganda and Russia’s past across the board. Notable pieces include Soviet redubs of a Coogi sweater, button-downs emblazoned with the slogan “ready to work and protect,” and chunky outerwear that looks like it could have been pulled straight out of a time capsule. The collection launched exclusively at all of the Dover Street Markets, including the retailer’s webstore if you act fast. Stay tuned for further information on stockists and releases elsewhere.
