Alexander McQueen 2016 Spring/Summer Collection
The British fashion house’s new collection plays with stripes, polka dots and nautical prints.

Spearheaded by creative director Sarah Burton, British fashion house Alexander McQueen debuted its forthcoming menswear collection for the 2016 spring/summer season recently at London Collections Men. A selection of trench coats, pea coats, double-breasted blazers, bomber jackets, sweaters, button-up shirts, collared shirts, and tailored pants make for a strong range of pajama-styled outfits and tailored suits that’s offered in a black, white and blue color palette. New prints like barbed wire patterns are presented with stripes and polka dots that are accented by embroidery detailing that take cues from Spanish matador bullfighter uniforms and war medallions, as well as sea creature patterns and other nautical symbols like mermaids, anchors, and the North Star.
