Atlanta rapper Father first bursted onto the scene with his dark, bass-laden hit “Look At Wrist,” prompting critics to label his musical style as peculiar, bouncy and melodic. In a surprise move, the up-and-comer dropped a free 12-track project today titled Who’s Gonna Get F*cked First, a work whose sound certainly reinstates the original apt branding of Father’s unique style. The album, which was almost entirely produced by Father himself, has an ominous, druggy feel that resounds with a similarity most closely resembling something like Tyler, the Creator’s 2011 Goblin but perhaps a little more chilled out. However, it is certainly something that needs to be heard to be appreciated in full. Featuring on the project is a collection of artists like KCSB, Abra, Stalin Majesty, Richpolism, Tommy Genasis and more. Check out the release above and share your thoughts.
