Kendrick Lamar Sets Spotify Records With 'To Pimp a Butterfly'
It’s obvious that Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album To Pimp a Butterfly has caused a lot of buzz

It’s obvious that Kendrick Lamar‘s sophomore album To Pimp a Butterfly has caused a lot of buzz with its spontaneous release, and outside of purchasing the album on iTunes, Spotify was the only place one was able to listen to it. As a result, the album broke world records with a total of 9.6 million streams on Monday, the first day of its release. Spotify also claims that only complete track listens were counted in that figure, meaning that a lot of listeners did take the time to go through entire tracks of Kendrick’s release instead of skimming through them. Congratulations, Kendrick; head over here to stream the album if you haven’t.
