A new Indiegogo campaign looks to bring back a popular fad many will remember from their childhood.
A new Indiegogo campaign looks to bring back a popular fad many will remember from their childhood. Japanese design startup No New Folk has started a new prototype footwear project titled Orphe, a “smart-shoes system that uses motion sensors and LEDs to enable new forms of expression.” Using hundreds of programmable LEDs around the outsole, the pair of shoes light up in various colors and in different Bluetooth-programmable patterns including a pulse, flash and strobe. The function will allow the wearer to communicate their feelings through choreographed light. To fund this new project or to buy yourself a pair, visit the Indigogo campaign here.
