CANNCUP Combines Coffee and Medical Marijuana
A new way to wake and bake.
CannTrust, a medicinal cannabis producer based in Ontario, Canada, aims to streamline your morning wake-and-bake routine with CANNCUP, a product which combines marijuana with Keurig-style coffee pods. The standardized doses can be brewed in any K-cup compatible coffee machine and are expected to cost between $3 or $4 USD each. You can choose to deliver your dose in tea, hot chocolate, or the traditional coffee and, according to CannTrust’s CEO Eric Paul, the pot addition will not give your beverage any discernible aftertaste. Paul hopes that the product will bring a new level of discretion to pot consumption. All that the company needs now is for Health Canada to grant a license for them to sell their product.
