Nike Air Max 1 "The 6" Is Toronto's Hottest Tribute Sneaker

One of Nike’s most iconic silhouettes, the Air Max 1, has been through years of progression ranging from music, sports, culture and much more. Now, Nike will be delivering a special edition of the classic model as an ode to Toronto, Canada. The upcoming shoe rests on a white airbag and outsole that’s rubberized, along with other features such as woven textiles, waxed laces, buck leather and Tech Tough leather all geared to combat Canada’s grueling winters. Additional details can be found on its Aurora Borealis (or “The Northern Lights”)-inspired sock liner and CN Tower graphic print. You can expect Nike’s “The 6” Air Max 1 to officially release on December 6 via Nike’s website and select Nike Sportswear retail locations, with availability at U.S. retailers on December 17.
