The Air Jordan 5 Retro Low "Alternate '90" Drops Next Month

Jordan Brand is kicking off its 2016 “Alternate” collection — which imagines what MJ’s player-exclusive designs may have looked like — with the “Alternate ‘89” edition of the Air Jordan 4 and now we have a concrete drop date for the second entry in the range. Dubbed the “Alternate ‘90,” the special take on the Air Jordan 5 comes in low-top form and pairs a black nubuck upper with the silhouette’s signature reflective 3M tongue as red accents hit everything from the lining and midsole to the rubber outsole, lace locks and Jumpman branding. While the “Alternate ‘89” is set to hit Jordan Brand spots January 2, the special edition Air Jordan 5 will hit retailers January 30 for $175 USD.
