On November 12, multi-talented Toronto singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar will drop off his new EP project, Pilgrim’s Paradise. To support and introduce the effort, Caesar has dropped off two new tracks: “Death & Taxes” and “Paradise.” While “Death & Taxes” aims to “set the stage” for the next chapter in Caesar’s career and the “story” he wants to share, “Paradise” unites Caesar with BADBADNOTGOOD and Sean Leon and is probably his biggest track of the year. Speaking on “Paradise,” Caesar tells FADER the following:
“‘Paradise’ is really important to me. It’s one of the more literal and direct songs I’ve ever written. I’m beginning to open up more about some of the more literal aspects of my life story in my songwriting.”
