The Harry Winston Opus XIV Is One of the Most Anticipated Watches of the Year

Harry Winston is a watch brand that is known for some of its innovative design constructs and recognizable wristwatch silhouettes, most notably the Opus series. The Opus XIV is the watchmaker’s latest release and due to the fanfare that each Opus design receives, is one of the most anticipated watch releases in years. On the left hand side of the watch there is a stack of four discs: one for time, one for a second timezone, one for the date, and an ‘aesthetics’ dial. One of the crowning features of this watch design is the ability to drop miniature records onto a playing disk with the click of the aesthetics button (as demonstrated in the movie below). Encased in white gold, only 50 units of the watch will be released and will retail for $430,000 USD.
