Conor McGregor’s quick rise to superstardom in the world of mixed martial arts may have caught some by surprise considering he only joined the sport’s main promotion UFC in 2013. The Irishman’s flamboyant personality and undefeated record in the UFC has made him a household name among MMA enthusiasts around the world, but it seems that people outside the sport have also begun to take notice of the Dublin native’s talents. Gregor Clegane aka “The Mountain” from Game of Thrones (real name Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson), who also happens to be a strongman, recently got into a bare-knuckled sparring session with the UFC Interim Featherweight Champion.
