Nike Air Max Lunar1 Black/Volt

After yesterday’s premiere of the Air Max Lunar1 Black/Grey/Volt (with hints of white), Nike bounces back from the darker end of the gradient with a new Black/Volt iteration. This version opts for a predominately black seamless mesh upper with its white midsole and Swoosh providing a bit of contrast. As for its neon-colored sole unit, it’s the reason Nike has introduced this classic silhouette as being “re-revolutionized.” Its official press release reads, “The Nike Air Max Lunar1 is the definitive union of lightweight cushioning and flexibility. Traditional Air Max technology partnered with innovative Nike Lunarlon foam creates a new feel for an iconic form.” While one side of the argument may find the Air Max 1 to be perfect in its original construction, some may welcome this updated mix of materials.
