McLaren has taken the wraps off the track-ready GT3 version of its 650S coupe. Based on the standard 650S, the 650s GT3 features a lightweight, rigid carbon fiber body with a wider track, revised air intakes, lightweight wheels, new tires, a modified front end, and a fixed carbon fiber rear wing. Under the hood is the company’s 493 horsepower, 3.8L twin-turbo V8 with a new ECU, and a six-speed gearbox. Just 15 examples will be built for the coming racing season with prices starting at £330,000 GBP (approximately $560,000 USD).
