While technical soles are nothing new to designer footwear, Japanese label ARTYZ has gone in a decidedly different direction than the likes of Prada and its “Levitate” collection with the introduction of the brand new “Run Over” sneaker. Marked by the appearance of a full-length air-filled cushioning unit seemingly lifted straight from some of Nike‘s most recent Air Max flagships, the “Run Over” boasts a deconstructed suede buck-style upper while timeless brick-colored accents are cleverly retained in the form of the shoe’s foam midsole and rubber outsole. Gold foil-stamped leather footbeds round out the package. The “Run Over” sneaker can be found now at ARTYZ stockists for ¥29,000 JPY (approximately $285 USD).
