Jonathan Anderson recently took to his personal Instagram to offer a first look at the new JW Anderson “Run Rabbit” sneaker. The silhouette introduces a sportier direction to the label’s footwear lineup, borrowing the proportions of a contemporary running shoe while filtering them through JW Anderson’s characteristically exaggerated design language.
The colorway centers on a saturated teal green, accented with hits of ochre yellow, while the upper appears to be constructed primarily from suede. The lacing further develops the palette through a mix of flat two-tone patterned laces and a solid teal, rope-like round lace, adding another layer of texture to the design.
An orange, dice-like charm threaded through the laces features a running rabbit motif, directly referencing the silhouette’s name and lending the otherwise technical shape a more playful finishing touch.
