Nike Basketball‘s LeBron 17 has tapped everything from Scottie Pippen‘s Air More Uptempo to the Command Force for inspiration during its time on the market, and now it’s looking to a PE worn by the King during the 2007 NBA-All Star Game in Las Vegas. Dubbed the “Graffiti Remix,” the new style borrows hues and build aspects from the LeBron 4 but repackages them for the modern-day game.

Dressed in an All-Star appropriate palette, the shoe also provides a compelling material mix. Futuristic Battleknit uppers are done up in navy, and offset by glossy silver and flat red patent leathers on the collar. A Nike Sportswear-esque jewel Swoosh appears on the lateral side, with further LeBron/Nike branding appearing on the collar clasp and throat.

Midsoles, however, are what serve the signature detail. A Foamposite-style white shell is splashed in scrawled navy graffiti, with words like “Fearless” and “Winner” interspersed among its stars and slashes. The cushioning setup mixes Zoom Air forefoot pods with a full Air Max heel unit, making for a ride that’s both responsive and protective. Icy blue outsoles complete the look.

The Nike LeBron 17 “Graffiti Remix” is set to release via Nike SNKRS Korea on July 14, and is priced at ₩269,000 KRW (approximately $225 USD). A US release will likely follow later this summer.

Moving from basketball to running, adidas has wrapped its UltraBOOST 20 in a full “Metallic Gold” finish.
