Awake NY SS26 Features Remixed North Face Jackets & Forthcoming Air Jordan 6
With colorful jerseys and striking visuals from artist Omi.
Summary
- Awake NY’s Spring collection features Omi’s airbrushed artwork on North Face shells, vibrant hockey jerseys, and logo-heavy bottoms.
- Dropping February 27, the range precedes a highly anticipated Air Jordan 6 collaboration, blending bold “dopamine” colors with gritty NYC-inspired streetwear staples.
Awake NY just unveiled a buzz-making collection led by a collaborative Air Jordan 6, however, the apparel collection is heavy with standouts too. Going all-in on print and embroidery, this eye-catching range features spliced graphics and remixed visuals from artist Omi.
In outerwear, which seems to be going nowhere anytime soon in NYC, North Face shell jackets in different colors feature airbrushed artwork from the NYC-based creative, who often blends his pop cultural references with satire. Among the graphics are a Che Guevara portrait against green, a skull against blue, and a portrait of Jesus over red.
Throughout the collection, dopamine-inducing colors like aqua, bubblegum pink, violet, and turquoise give a lift to the edgier statements. A pink Awake polo resembles a football jersey with shoulder icons, while the turquoise hockey jersey is emblazoned with an oversized NY on the front and a split logo on the back.
Bottoms are particularly strong, printed with logos down the legs, retro color panels, and double-knee details. And Awake is sure to offer the basics too: indigo and black denim. Finally, for an easy but extra look, faded sweat sets in purple and blue are printed with multi-directional logos.
The lookbook’s centerpiece, the Air Jordan 6 isn’t expected until later this year in “Midnight Navy” and possibly “Playful Pink”. Stay tuned for release details regarding the AJ6 collab and look out for the spring range to debut on February 27.
