Summary
- Stefano Gallici debuts his first brand campaign for Ann Demeulemeester
- Photographer Nikolai von Bismarck captures the SS26 collection against the 18th-century grandeur of Villa Manin
- The visual narrative coincides with the opening of a new Ann Demeulemeester flagship boutique in Milan
Ann Demeulemeester has officially unveiled its first brand campaign under the creative direction of Stefano Gallici, signaling a transition from the brand’s historically introspective approach towards visuals and branding, to a more articulated global presence.
For the campaign, Gallici, who joined the team in 2020 before his appointment to Creative Director in 2023, continues to draw from his foundations in punk rock and indie music to shape the brand in the contemporary, while still being mindful of the brand’s poetic, rebellious, and raw spirit. Shot by photographer Nikolai von Bismarck and styled by long-time collaborator Elodie David, the campaign finds its backdrop at Villa Manin in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The 18th-century estate, located near Gallici’s hometown, serves as a symbolic return to memory and landscape, creating a deliberate tension with the garments and echoing themes of intimacy and monumentality first seen during the SS26 runway show.
This debut brand campaign arrives alongside the opening of a new Milanese boutique, and the launch of the brand’s SS26 collection online and at retailers, reinforcing a period of renewed visibility and expansion for the house.
