Studio Nicholson has revealed its Spring/Summer 2026 collection with a stunning campaign shot in Lanzarote by British artist Kingsley Ifill. Drawing inspiration from vast landscapes, vista and the evocative sensation of a warm summer wind, the collection explores a narrative of fluidity and purity.
Founder and Creative Director Nick Wakeman centered this season’s creative process on the concept of garments that “move of their own volition,” looking to the iconic imagery of Georgia O’Keeffe and David Attenborough in tonal neutrals as seasonal muses. This research phase, which focused exclusively on black-and-white photography, resulted in a primarily monochromatic wardrobe designed to convey an effortlessly laid-back yet sensual summer aesthetic that prioritizes texture and silhouette over ornamentation.
In womenswear, the season introduces a viscose linen slub fabric with a vintage handle and visible textural surface, ideal for relaxed tailoring. Key pieces include the Elkin jacket, an unstructured three‑button design with a notch lapel; the Calvo pant, featuring a hem button and drawcord belt; and the Bryde skirt, which wraps and buttons at the hip. Rendered in alabaster tones, these garments embody Wakeman’s vision of monochromatic summer dressing that feels both understated and elevated.
Menswear continues the relaxed tailoring theme with the Ferro jacket, cut in a cotton‑linen broken twill with subtle herringbone texture, available in antique white, black or pinstripe. This is paired with tonal Pull pants and the new Lemmer shirt in viscose linen, while other highlights include the Sanko shirt in cocoa paper poplin, the wide‑leg Sonny pant in indigo cotton or pinstripe, and the bestselling Over jacket, reimagined in matte cotton‑nylon.
The collection also introduces a unisex highlight: the Dash jacket, crafted in raw mid‑weight suede in black or mole‑grey.
