Charlie Constantinou FW26 Is Ready for Battle
The designer’s Season 6 collection is designed not just for the runway, but for a world in constant motion.
Central Saint Martins graduate Charlie Constantinou continues to carve out his space on London’s runways. Known for his futuristic, apocalyptic lens and gorpcore sensibility, the designer returned to London Fashion Week for his third season under the British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN initiative and celebrates a milestone that signals steady momentum and growing confidence.
Season 6 marks a distinct evolution. This time, Constantinou leans into the concept of uniformity, refining his experimental edge into wardrobes grounded in real-life wearability. Drawing inspiration from 18th and 19th-century military dress, he reinterprets historically rigid, often impractical uniforms into contemporary silhouettes built for resilience and movement. His Fall/Winter 2026 collection embraces adaptability, allowing the wearer to blend into their surroundings through a gradient palette of grey, green, blue, purple, and red, all dyed onto deadstock fabrics.
Traditional military coats are propelled into the future with skewed button closures, armor-like shoulder inserts, and celebratory chest pins. Hoodies arrive slashed and layered, some finished with detachable shearling hoods for modular styling. Braided harnesses slice across the body, complementing metallic layers, softly dyed outerwear, and recycled tweed coats that balance structure with a tactile presence.
With FW26, Constantinou designs clothing engineered not just for the runway, but for a world in constant motion. Take a closer look at the collection above.
