This latest iteration moves away from the standard all-white look in favor of a “Black Fossil” arrangement. By blending disparate textures across the upper, the Beaverton brand offers a mature take on the 1982 icon that prioritizes subtle contrast over loud branding.
The design’s strength lies in its material play. The base is constructed from a crisp black leather, which is immediately contrasted by rich nubuck overlays that absorb light for a matte finish. Adding a third dimension to the profile, the signature Swooshes are rendered in a “shaggy” hairy suede, providing a rugged yet premium feel.
