While filming in November 2025, the set welcomed a high-profile visitor in Tom Cruise, who didn’t just stay behind the safety of the monitors—he ended up waist-deep in the creative process.
As Levy recounted, Cruise arrived merely wanting to observe the production of the Ryan Gosling-led tentpole. However, the energy of a lightsaber duel being filmed in a muddy pond proved irresistible. When Levy jokingly suggested Cruise take over a camera, the Mission: Impossible star didn’t hesitate.
