The SOREL Caribou boot has lived many lives since 1962. It’s been reimagined for the streets, carrying a legacy beyond its Ontario origins. Born from the frigid winters of its homeland, the boot’s all-terrain design quickly cemented its place as a staple. At Ontario’s Kaufman Rubber Factory, the Caribou was crafted from handmade rubber, wool and full-grain buff leather, made to withstand any adventure.

This Fall, SOREL embraces its storied heritage with the new HORIZON™ collection. It’s inspired by American explorer Ralph Plaisted’s 1968 journey to the North Pole, where he wore SOREL’s Caribou boot along the way. The signature style remains at the heart of the new SOREL offerings, infusing each with a sense of tradition, while updated technical features and luxe accents provide a contemporary feel.

The range includes evolved versions of the OG Caribou for men and women. The Callsign Horizon™ Low GTX, the brand’s key Horizon offering, blends the best of both worlds — style and support.

The sneaker has a resilient Ortholite™ footbed, a Molded XS TREK EVO VIBRAM™ compound outsole and a lightweight molded Livelyfoam midsole. It’s also waterproof, courtesy of a Gore-Tex™ membrane, so that it can take on any conditions — cementing the fact that the model is made to carry you from any adventure to the apres affairs.

The collection launched on August 26. Explore the Callsign Horizon™ GTX online now.
