Eckhaus Latta Spring/Summer 2026 Elevates Its Downtown Cool

Fresh off Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta’s first-ever CFDA nomination for menswear designer of the year, they took a crowd of New York City’s coolest (up three flights of stairs) into a Walker Street walk-up for what just might be Eckhaus Latta‘s most polished presentation yet.

The show notes kept it succinct, simply reading, “God has a plan. We are all waitresses in his sick little restaurant,” and the collection kept it light.

Layering and loose tailoring led the moodboard, leaning into a breathable essence that carried through the entire menswear and womenswear delivery. A slate of monochromatic looks kicked off the show, with sheer silhouettes paired with denim staples, sleek suiting pieces, and loosely tailored trousers.

After a pair of standout cut-out tees – exposed right around the abdominal area – a flurry of vibrant-hued red and orange looks close out the show, giving way for Eckhaus and Latta to take their final bow in all-white, Latta had her newborn baby in tow.

While a bit more sophisticated, the cool downtown label growing up a bit, if you will, its effortless aura was still infused throughout the showcase; some models donned eye masks, with others in flip flops, and one even smoking a joint as she sauntered down the runway.

Take a closer look at Eckhaus Latta’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection in the runway images above, and stay tuned to Hypebeast for continuing New York Fashion Week coverage.
