Summary

  • Paul Smith and Artek have released a new limited-edition Stool 60
  • The new stool features legs in sky blue, rust, and British racing green, with a hidden red underside
  • The original stool from the first collaboration is also available again

Paul Smith and Artek have announced a continuation of their successful partnership with the launch of “Artek Reimagined by Paul Smith, Edition Two”. Following a sell-out debut collaboration that featured Artek’s iconic Stool 60, the two companies are back with a new, limited-edition version of the same stool. This new release focuses on a single piece and is defined by a fresh set of colors, while still encapsulating the shared commitment to innovation, lasting quality and human-centric design.

This second edition introduces a playful twist beneath the surface: each Stool 60 seat is finished in a warm, natural wood stain, while its underside is revealed in vibrant pillar-box red — a nod to the hidden linings of Paul Smith’s tailored suits. The three legs are individually painted sky blue, rust and British racing green, drawing directly from the 40 hues of the Signature Stripe. This thoughtful palette transformation brings fresh personality to an object that has symbolized modernist ingenuity for decades.

Alongside the new release, the original Paul Smith x Artek Stool 60 also returns to the roster, all currently available via Paul Smith’s webstore.
